Mr. Poulos was born and raised in New Jersey. His undergraduate degree from New York University was in a dual major of Economics and Philosophy. He then attended New York University’s Graduate School of Business at night while he was working full time and received an MBA in Accounting. He received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1982.

Mr. Poulos’s first job after law school was as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, New York where he met his wife Andrea who was also a prosecutor. In between their busy law careers, Andrea and Greg raised Jason, who is now married to Michele with two children of their own. Greg and Andrea are still raising their college age son Alex. Before they moved to Arizona in 2005, Andrea completed a successful career as an Executive Level Prosecutor and she is now serving as a Docent at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Mr. Poulos entered into private practice in 1985 after completing his commitment to the District Attorney. He successfully operated his own firm, representing hundreds of clients since opening his doors. His practice gave him a broad legal experience in many areas of the law including Family Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate, Probate, Business Law and General Civil Litigation. He has represented clients in trials in State and Federal Courts on many different types of claims. Mr. Poulos considers the best route to a successful outcome is thorough preparation and a willing to go the whole way if necessary. Mr. Poulos also believes that a client’s position must be presented in a clear and logical manner to persuade the trier of fact. He provides his clients with the benefit of his legal experience and knowledge, but feels that his clients are the ultimate decision makers of their own case.

While practicing law, Mr. Poulos also had the opportunity to provide counsel to business and individual clients on transactional matters. He has represented clients in the negotiation of agreements, preparation of corporate documents and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Poulos is an avid age group triathlete. He discovered the sport several years ago and has participated in events of all lengths up to and including The Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and Ironman Arizona. He has also been very involved in his community’s Little League as a Board member since arriving in Arizona.
