Alexandra's Background
Alexandra was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Alexandra earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia from their renowned Journalism School in 2015. In 2019, Alexandra went on to earn her Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago. While a student, her legal studies focused primarily in Business Law. Due to her extensive education in that area, Alexandra was awarded a Business Law Certificate upon graduation. Outside of class, Alexandra participated in DePaul University’s Business Law Society as their Real Estate Chair Committee.
In addition to her legal studies, Alexandra had the opportunity to gain real-world experience and legal knowledge as a student that has helped her become the attorney she is today. Alexandra worked at the Office of the Cook County State’s Attorney in Skokie, Illinois, where she gained valuable exposure handling miscellaneous criminal and misdemeanor cases from inception to prosecution. The following year, Alexandra transitioned into the private practice of law, as a clerk at a mid-size law firm in Chicago, Illinois. Alexandra started in the firm’s products liability group but quickly transitioned into the firm’s business and commercial litigation group. After graduating from law school, Alexandra relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in pursuit of sunshine and the outdoors. Alexandra was lucky enough to find her perfect match when she joined the wonderful team at Platt and Westby, PC soon after her arrival.
When Alexandra is not in the office, you can find her hiking and camping in any one of the beautiful national parks that surround the state of Arizona. Within the first few months of moving to Arizona, Alexandra visited more than 10 National Parks including Canyonlands National Park, Arches National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, and the Great Sand Dunes National Park. Her goal is to one day visit every national park in the United States.
