Meet Andrew Rahtz, Phoenix Area Attorney
Andrew Rahtz is from Cincinnati, Ohio and attended the Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in History in 2002. Mr. Rahtz then relocated to Southern California where he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of La Verne, College of Law with a full merit scholarship.
During law school Mr. Rahtz excelled at oral arguments and clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office working with prosecutors on child abuse cases.
After law school, Mr. Rahtz worked at a large insurance defense firm in Los Angeles handling construction defect and personal injury matters. Realizing he preferred working directly with real people, Mr. Rahtz moved to the Phoenix area in 2007 to focus on plaintiff work with an emphasis on civil litigation.
Working with another attorney in a small firm, Mr. Rahtz excelled at client interaction and specialized in quickly identifying legal problems and developing comprehensive plans of action to address and resolve such problems. Mr. Rahtz honed his knack for working with clients and was recognized by the Chief Executive Officer of the Arizona State Bar for excellent client feedback.

Mr. Rahtz has participated in both the Tempe International Triathlon, the Las Palomas Rocky Point Triathlon, the Phoenix Summit Challenge, and the Phoenix edition of the Tough Mudder. Mr. Rahtz also enjoys CrossFit, Bikram yoga, and competitive team sports such as flag football and basketball.
An avid outdoorsman and hiker, Mr. Rahtz has also taken multiple fishing and canoeing trips to the Canadian boundary waters and has hiked several Arizona mountains including a trip through the Grand Canyon and Havasupai Falls.
Mr. Rahtz believes in giving back to the community and has worked with the Meals on Wheels program and the Volunteer Lawyers Program. Mr. Rahtz is also a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Arizona and the Young Buckeyes of Phoenix Alumni Club.
