Meet Firas Sawaf, Phoenix Area Attorney
Firas' Background
Firas obtained his juris doctor degree from Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2020. He also earned a master degree in business and economic law obtained from the University of Paris 1, Pantheon-Sorbonne in 2002. During law school, Firas worked as a legal extern. After law school, Firas worked as associate attorney supporting the litigation and transactional departments in reviewing contracts and agreements in commercial litigation.
Before calling Arizona his new home, Firas worked as a legal consultant at an international law firm overseas for more than 12 years where he built a rich transactional portfolio and was involved in several mega deals. Firas’ skills and services have been recognized in professional publications including Legal 500 and Chambers Global.
Firas’ real-world experience lends itself to his strong legal skillset. Firas’ ability to present revisions and additions to contracts and agreements to best protect the client are more advanced than his years of practice. Further, his multinational exposure to law and languages prepared him well to tackle and excel in other areas of practice. Firas is trilingual. He is fluent in Arabic and French.
Outside of work, Firas enjoys spending time with his two daughters, friends and family, participating in competitive team sports such as soccer and engaging in outdoor activities.
