Practicing Law In Arizona For Nearly 50 Years!
The law firm of Platt & Westby, P.C., was created in 1974 by merging the practices of Harvey B. Platt and Peter H. Westby to establish a comprehensive and innovative law practice that could meet most of the legal needs of families and businesses in the Phoenix areas we serve.
Platt & Westby, P.C., has recruited a resourceful and highly experienced team of lawyers, paralegals, legal secretaries and investigators. We are proud of our ability to provide efficient and top quality legal representation with our high caliber Phoenix, Arizona attorneys. We are also proud to be a firm that has enjoyed longevity with our staff. One of our staff members has been working with us for almost 24 years! All our attorneys have many years of legal experience and have demonstrated track records of success. They have a profound understanding of their area of legal focus and often have personal experience in that area as well.
For example, in the area of real estate and business law, founding partners Harvey Platt and Peter Westby have been small business owners as well as real estate investors, landlords and property managers and have been so for nearly 40 years. Peter Westby held an Arizona real estate salesman’s license for many years and Harvey Platt was a title examiner prior to entering the practice of law.
We are equally impressed with the attorneys who work with Platt & Westby, P.C., and the backgrounds they bring to enrich our practice. Also well-versed in litigation is Partner Andrew Rahtz who excels in the courtroom when advocating on clients' behalf. Partner Elizabeth Moore is an aggressive advocate and has skills that allow her to work well with clients who sometimes find themselves in emotionally-charged situations. Associate attorney Alexandra Kurtyka has been a part of the Platt & Westby team for almost 4 years and focuses extensively on probate and civil litigation. With her experience, clients can rely on Ms. Kurtyka to handle their cases with the utmost care and professionalism. In addition, she is bilingual with fluency in Polish.
Building Great, Lasting Relationships With Clients
We hope to be your go-to law firm being able to help in areas ranging from starting a business to filing bankruptcy, negotiating a divorce settlement or aggressively representing your interests in civil litigation. It is no coincidence that Platt & Westby, P.C., has been doing business for almost 44 years helping people around the valley. Platt & Westby, P.C., is a staple in the Phoenix legal community. We welcome all to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced and knowledgeable attorneys. There is never a charge for an initial conference and no obligation to hire. You will meet face to face with a qualified attorney and not a salesperson. We strive to meet our clients' goals with ethical and honest behavior. We value our clients and believe in developing long-lasting and trusting relationships. We are proud that, in some cases, we have represented the grandchildren of original clients—three generations of the same family. In order to better serve the Phoenix area community, we have expanded to include an office location at 1425 W Elliot Rd #201 in Gilbert. As always since 1980, our main office remains in Central Phoenix at 2916 N. 7th Avenue.
We invite and encourage you to contact our office or call 602-277-4441 to meet with one of our Phoenix, Arizona lawyers to discuss your legal needs. We look forward to speaking with you.
